6 JILAKE
Historical
In the 18th century, the Dutch East India Company aimed to control all tin mines in Perak to outcompete other foreign powers. They hired a group of thugs called 6 Jilake to oversee the mining areas, including Kampong Ketayap. However, the village remained protected by a warrior named Kuping and resisted their control. The 6 Jilake were tasked with capturing the village, believed to hold valuable hidden treasures
